>>  What is a Giclee?

The word "giclee" (pronounced "jee-klay") is French for "to spray." It is a printmaking process in which the original artwork is scanned into a digital imager which then transmits the information to special fine art printer. This printer uses 6 to 8 inkjet pigment-based colors to spray the ink onto watercolor paper. The results are amazingly accurate in color and detail, making giclees the highest quality of fine art reproduction.

Staples Fine Art, located in Richmond, Virginia, produces Beth's giclees. For more information visit their website at www.staplesart.com.
